 Don't buy 1......Buy 6! Aug 25, 2010
My Dad is hard to please and impossible to buy gifts for, but he does love his wine. This year for his birthday I took a tip from a friend and got this for my Dad... At first he didn't really get it, but after he tried the newly opened wine straight from the bottle in comparison to the wine that was poured through the Vinturi, he became enamored. He went from a skeptic to showing this device to everyone who has walked in our door since his birthday. He's going to give one to his brother for his birthday. If you need a gift for anyone who even a little likes wine, get a Vinturi!
Pros:
Opens wine up beautifully
Super easy to clean - just rinse in water
Portable
Easy to use
Cons:
Don't use it on a bottle of wine that has already been open for a while.

Easy to use, looks more expensive than it is. Makes the wine more aromatic and tastes bolder. Highly recommend for wine-o's.

This is a great gift idea and YES it truly does work...It quickly aerates red wine almost like a decanter... You will be surprised by the difference in taste and besides: Its fun!!

what a product! this is one machine that delivers. we now pour every glass of wine in our house through the vinturi. it makes a big difference. and, late at night, if you start missing the opening then that tells you it's about time to call it an evening. now if they just made something this great for beer i could start buying cheap beer instead of only the good stuff.
