This is a great decanter dryer. The base is wide enough to keep it steady and there is a plastic tip on the top to help the decanter sit safely. It works very well but be careful not to bump the decanter while it is drying - it does not take very much of a bump to knock the decanter off the plastic tip.

The simple clean design makes this a great drying rack, not only for decanters but any bottle you want to wash and save. Combine this with the brush specially designed for decanters, and the steel beads and very little can't be cleaned safely and effectively.
It is all about the right tools.

Great price for a very useful item.
This does a great job of helping dry my decanter. There is a rubber(plastic?)cover on the point that the decanter rests on, so it is more stable than it appears in the picture. My decanter dries phenomenally faster and with no water marks or residual using this. I've also been using it to dry vases and pitchers and it works just as well for those. It is a matter of balance, though. To get a large glass pitcher with a heavy handle to balance it was visually very off-balance but nonetheless stable. Again, worked well. Very happy with this item.

I've recently purchased a decanter and at that time decided I should have a drying stand. The stand is great quality and stainless steel. The top has a nice thick rubber piece which protects the decanter from scratches. It was priced well for the quality. Definitely a must buy if you're buying a decanter or have one already!
