The hinge came broken because only a thin paper box was used for packaging. Packaging bubbles or peanuts could've been a better choice. Besides this issue, the little container looks nice overall.

Like earlier reviewer, I also got this box with a broken hinge upon arrival. It is pretty, but with a broken hinge, it is basically useless. Since it is only 5.99, it is worthless to waste my time and money to send it back for return or exchange.

Although I like the design, and it will fit nicely in my medicine cabinet, the lid is useless, because like others, my box came with a broken hinge on the left side. The piece is not in the box or plastic packaging, so I am wondering if it is a design flaw, rather than a "break", but none-the-less at a little over $5 for the item it isn't worth the time or money to return it.

I have come to love these acrylic containers and have bought several of different types. Who would have thought to buy a cotton swab holder? But after getting this one, it is so practical and attractive I wonder why it took so long to come across one. It is well made, opens easily and fits the swabs comfortably. The acrylic is sturdy and clear.

Everyone that has entered my house has commented on how they like q-tip box. this acrylic box is of higher quality then expected, I am looking forward to finding another location so I can buy more
