Works well, though not quite as designed. Mar 30, 2010
By J. Gordon I got these a couple of weeks ago and used them at a wine tasting last week. They clip on to plates firmly and securely, and I've tried them on at least 3 different plates. However, I find that the wine glasses are more secure if you actually clip the clips on upside-down. The angle of the clips means that if you clip them on right-side up the clip is actually sloping down (away) from the plate, making it easier for the wine glass to slide out. If you clip them on upside-down the clips slope up, and the wine glass is much more secure. While it may not look as slick, it really is a great way to hold a wine glass and a plate, while still keeping one hand free to shovel food into your mouth.
Can Slip out of Clip Apr 02, 2010
By Shelley F. Hall While the clip seems to work, you must hold the plate absolutely level or the glass will slip out. Not the best design for its use. When eating, drinking and talking you are not going to be focused on keeping a plate from moving. Not sure I'd trust the clip to do the job.
