Some people may have reservations about purchasing these leatherette coasters, as did I. However, they seem to hold up well to liquids and are made with quality. The stitching is very firm and complete with no loose threads. After using them for several weeks they have been holding up very well.
Glasses will sometimes stick to the coaster (as condensation builds up, the water "suctions" a little to the coaster, but that is typical of many coasters). The holder is a nice touch that helps set this item apart from others (if the leather didn't already). I use them in a bedroom and in an office and they work out perfectly! Recommended!

These coasters are not at all what I expected - don't be fooled by the image provided. The leatherette looks cheap and the stitching quality is horrible. I guess these are supposed to be reversible but the color on the other side is this terrible light beige or similar (can't remember well). I guess I should have expected this for the price. If you are looking for something high quality and elegant, DO NOT buy this.

These coasters work like they are supposed to and the case is nice. I used them in my law office for when I offer clients something to drink. They are vinyl so I don't know what they'll look like in 5 years, but the price was right and they look sharp now.
I think the coasters look more like a really, really dark brown, but maybe the listing is right and they are really black.

These coasters are great. Unfortunately, I wanted black coasters, not really dark brown coasters. I compared them to every black leather item I own and they didn't match any of them. However, the coasters do seem to be really well made. I would definitely recommend them to someone looking for almost black coasters.

I love my leather coasters. The bottom is a beige leather with a beautiful stitching. The holder they come in is cool, too. I use this set all the time. Highly recommend.
