4Very Good Wine Rack  Jul 12, 2009
By Brian P. Cooper
This is a very good wine rack. There is no instructions, but none are really necessary. It took me a second to figure out how the bottles would be placed on the rack (bottle stem in or out). By trying both ways, it is clear that bottle stems are face-out. The rack was easy to install and includes some mounting screws / anchors.

The only negative comment that I have is the bottles are very close together. Most people will find this advantageous-- fitting 60 bottles in the smallest space possible. The negative is that when adding and removing bottles, you can brush up (and move) the bottle above it. I installed the rack in an unfinished room in my basement. Without the wall behind it, I actually pushed a bottle through when adding a bottle. This is a minor concern which won't affect most people, but it is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

4Oenophilia wine rack  Feb 09, 2008
By C. Kleinschmidt
This rack is simple and yet anchor it to the wall and it is very sturdy. It has a very clean look and is well constructed. If put up plumb and level it has the right amount of angle for the wine bottles to keep cork moist.

4Simple and functional  Jan 26, 2008
By Michael Lee
Remarkably simple but functional. It was usable as soon as it is pulled out of the box, there is no need for assemblage. It does exactly what it has been designed to do at a reasonable price. You do need to anchor it to a wall for optimal stability.

5Stacking 60 bottle and 40 bottle wine racks  Sep 18, 2009
By Roman Beyer "Steinke Beyer"
I purchased four of the 60 bottle racks and four of the 40 bottle racks, for a total of 400 bottles. I straightened the feet of half of the racks and made a link to connect them together at the mid point so that one 60 bottle rack was stacked on top of another 60 bottle rack. I did the same for the 40 bottle racks. They were then screwed to the wall at all locations. To get the racks to fit tight vertically to each other I ground down the ends of the wire that protrudes along the vertical rails. The racks have a wirey appearance without wine bottles in the rack. But once you fill the rack they have a very elegant appearance. The cost was about $1/bottle. I received quotes for racks that were >$5/bottle. It took about a day+ to put this system together.

5For people looking to spend their money on the wine, not the rack  Oct 17, 2010
By Charles E. Stevens
Having just moved from a small apartment to a house, my wife and I were looking for a functional wine rack with good capacity and a good price to hold our wine collection. After much comparison shopping this wine rack fit the bill perfectly. In fact, we liked it so much that we bought another! Easy to install, very study once affixed to the wall, this is an excellent value given that most other wine racks hold fewer bottles at a steeper price. For people like us, who were looking to spend their money on the wine instead of what was holding it, this was the perfect choice. We couldn't be happier: now all we need to do is fill up the empty spaces in the rack!
