Sturdy mugs Aug 23, 2009
By Jennifer M. Nelson In our house, these are used for ice-water, not beer, and were bought to replace plastic mugs purchased from a big-box retailer, which became cracked after a year or so of use. These mugs seem to be better-constructed (thicker material) and, as a bonus, tend to not leave rings of condensation.

near perfect:) Oct 01, 2011
By lucy johnson-talbert i am looking for a poly mug that will hold a can of pepsi once it is filled to the brim with ice. this little mug, almost does it:) little shy of getting a full pepsi in. i also ordered the tervis 15 oz mug at the same time. i reviewed it as well. this mug is far, far better! love the handle and balance of the mug, it's very solid and not tippy. i also like the smooth edge of the lip. this mug was worth the money, just needs to be a shy bigger:)

Lightweight, but sturdy mug! Mar 28, 2011
By TORNADOTLA I never realized how hard it is to find an everyday drinking mug! I wanted something more than cheap plastic, but not ridiculously heavy and breakable. The Polycarbonate Plastic Mug is perfect for my casual needs!

Love these mugs Aug 21, 2011
By Mz L Nklz These Mugs are great. This is my second purchase of the mugs. Clear 18 Oz. Unbreakable Polycarbonate Plastic Mug (Each) Run them in the dishwasher all the time they don't get scatched in the wash! When you use them for ice tea or ice water they don't sweat and get water everywhere. Our fridge does not have the tall water dispenser on the front door and these fit perfect(which most tall glassware will not fit). One thing I did learn was to follow the instructions regarding the temperature of the water in the dishwasher! They will crack at the bottom and leak. As long as I always wash on normal cycle (no sani rinse) everything is fine. I bought a set of six a few years back and after 2 years they looked like the day I bought them until I ran sani rinse (had a senior momment). We use them every day. The first reason I bought them other than they would fit my water dispenser on the fridge was because when my mom comes to visit, she needs a handle and something that is not heavy. They whole family perfers to use them verses my regular glasseware.

Already cracking Aug 19, 2011

Bought these in June 2011 and bottoms of 2 have already cracked and are leaking. Bought these to replace similar mugs had had for 3 years that did the same. Old ones took 3 years to crack and leak(they didn't cost as much either). Yes we use them a lot. Like having handles since I am a klutz and a wet glass is harder to hold. Yes I put them in the dishwasher on the top rack and didn't wash them by hand, I'm lazy. But at this price would have expected a longer life from the product. They may not break when you drop them but sure will crack and leak for whatever reason. Will be replacing them with something similar but cheaper in glass.
