I looked this over, and measured my necklaces, which include pearls, as well as chains with pendants. Ladies -- we need 13 - 14 inches of hanging space, in order for the pendants not to hit the holder, or other necklaces. This one just comes up short .... by about 2-inches. Also, they could have designed it so that there would be hooks on both the door *and* the side of the necklace compartments -- then, it could possibly hold up to 24 necklaces, which would make it usable. It's a shame -- because I would have gotten one for me and one for a gift ....

It has a great appearance but is limited functionaly.
There are no latches on side doors, nor are there drawer stops, making transport difficult.
Jewelry falls out quite readily when there is even slight forward or side tilting.
Suitable if stationary

This Jewelry chest is the best, I love the look of it and it holds all of my jewelery. the only thing is as others have said the chain hook is too short. your long chains will drag on the bottom but I just lift them up to closed the side doors not to big of a deal. The only other thing is that I would add a draw for my bigger bangles. they don't fit in the draws so I try to put them in the side where the necklaces are. It's not to bad. But all in all it's a GREAT product to buy!!

I bought this for my wife's birthday and she loved it! Nifty for organizing the jewel collection but I have to use my own measures for guarding the family jewels.
