Replacement Box Feb 12, 2009
By Veronica S. Boll The box was ordered to replace an old box that had finally fallen apart. It is very close to the first one, but the 5.75" width is not wide enough for recipe cards in protective plastic sleeves. Each one had to be cut to fit. An additional 1/4" would make a big difference.

Recipe card holder Dec 13, 2009
By S. Watson Love the nice clean look and slot at the top to hold recipe card to keep it clean. Box is too deep for cards. Cards sit too far down in the box. Stuffed the bottom to lift cards. Still difficult to get out the one you want when the box is full.

Acrylic Recipe Box 3x5 Feb 22, 2010
By Glenda Morrison Great recipe box. I bought it to update my loose recipes. It has great organizer tabs. A great asset for the kitchen
Perfect Little Recipe Box :) Apr 01, 2012
By Firinne I fell instantly in love with this recipe box when I saw it - the picture doesn't do it justice.
There's a lot acrylic products out there that look really cheap and ugly, but this isn't one of them. The acrylic is absolutely beautiful and it looks and feels high-quality. It also fits my laminated 3x5 recipe cards perfectly.
The only downside to this recipe box is that the hinge for the lid feels a little bit flimsy. It's the type that has two pegs jutting out from the side of the lid that sit in holes that are formed in the body of the box. I don't particular like this style, to be honest, because I know that there will be a day when the lid pops out and I'll have to wrestle with it for ages to pop it back in - only to have to do that practically every single time I lift or close the lid after that.
But, besides that, it's perfect and I really love it. It's simple yet pretty.
EDIT: Yesterday, one of the lid's hinges came undone. When I was about to begin forcing it back into place, I noticed that the container has a little open groove for the lid to slide back into place. How brilliant! Now it doesn't matter if the lid pops out because it can be replaced easily. Hooray!
