I like this slicer, its been great, had this for 2 to 3 yrs already, very good, and also has replacement wire, but the wire to cut cheese is very good, probally wont need one for a long time,
so excellant slicer, for almost anything, easy to clean even like the cutting board for other things like tomatos and cucumbers and etc. so in conclusion this is best I've ever had thanks Prodyne.

My son gave this slicer to me and I love it so much I bought one for each of my 4 sisters.....it glides through cheese and after 3 years, the wire did snap and I replaced it for $1.00 from the manufacturer within a week. Thanks and enjoy as much as we do!

outstanding product and came fast. I gave away 2 boards for xmas gifts to the kids. They loved them too.
note: be sure to read instructions for lining up the wire as they come off alignment do to shipping

I am disappointed in this cheese slicer. I had a similar one manufactured by the same company. It lasted for about 15 years! This cheese slicer does not cut all the way through the cheese because the slot in which the wire sits is uneven.

I've had this brand for 40+ years and it is still working great with original wire. I ordered this one for Xmas gift, hope it lasts 40+ years for new owner.
