By Anonymous This is my second pepper pro as the first one was dropped by my ex. Although we managed to rig it with rubber bands, it finally had its time after four years. I love the light feature that illuminates whatever food you are peppering so that you can get the exact amount you wish for in your dish or on your plate. This comes very handy with picky pepper people who still want "some" on their salad. Worth taking the time to write this review for such a handy product.

By Martin J. Lindal I love this thing! We use it everyday. Tip: Yes the batteries slip away from the springs. Just put a few rubber bands around them and they will stay in place.

The peppermill is great...performs as specified, and the light is fantastic for monitoring the amount of pepper dispensed, especially in low light levels. However, the attachment of the housing to the batteries is not up to par with the rest of the unit. I have had two of these and both have failed in that area. I have had the unit drop out of the housing onto my food. It would be better if the unit were made of metal instead of plastic.
