This glass is so much prettier than the picture reveals! Acrylic is a much safer than polycarbonite too, which leaches bpa's and other polymers. Just don't put them into the dishwasher. The heat and detergent take a real toll on their appearance. Cracks will eventually occur too, showing up on the bottoms. Only one glass actually leaked slightly over time, but I'll replace every one in my original order with new ones that will never see the inside of a dishwasher!

I'm here to order my third round of these glasses. As the previous reviewer said, they won't last forever if you put them in the dishwahser, however, I'm glad to spend 40 dollars a year to have these glasses. They are pretty, and very lightweight, and if you have smaller hands like I do, they are easy to hold because the the cutouts. My sister in law first had some, and we came home and ordered. I hope they always make them! With our Christmas guests coming we're getting a bright new shiny supply!
